Did I mention we love weddings? Clearwater Beach Wedding Photography is something we do quite frequently. The blue skies, the crashing waves.. well.. ripples, and the smell of the salty air, and breezes that come off of the Gulf of Mexico make Clearwater Beach Weddings an experience to have. Year after year Clearwater Beach Wedding Photography is a big part of what we do. Sometimes your wedding photography moves from the beach and onto one of the many yachts located in Clearwater Marina right on Clearwater Beach across from Pier 60. That is what happened for our lovely couple Alexandra and Niko.
Alexandra and Niko got married on the Clearwater Sensation which is part of the Starlight Fleet. This yacht is a popular wedding venue that gives you that Clearwater Beach Wedding feel all the while cruising the Clearwater Harbor and Gulf of Mexico and not having to get your feet all wet and sandy.
Our day started with Alexandra getting ready at the Clearwater Beach Holiday Inn. The hustle and bustle of the getting ready time concluded with a first look on the balcony of the Duval Room over looking the sands of Clearwater Beach. The Bride to be enjoyed a first look with all of the important men in her life. Her grand dad, her dad , and of course her soon to be groom. The first looks went off flawless and tears were had and shed by everyone. After the first look the couple went hand in hand down to the trolley stop. We boarded the trolley and made our way to Clearwater Marina and boarded the Sensation.
The ceremony was beautiful. We cruised the harbor while the couple said their vows. Nearby boaters cheered and clapped as they sailed by. The ceremony included readings of their own vows and a knot tying ceremony.
The family time and romantic photography took place right on the deck of the yacht. The blue skies and open waters made for a gorgeous backdrop. The sunset photography was pretty awesome as well as the colors of the sky highlighted our couple. Soon after our family photography and our romantic photography ended dinner began on the main floor of the yacht. Dinner and dancing filled the rest of the evening as Alexandra and Niko celebrated their special day.
