Tommy and Katie are getting married this November. When talking with this amazing couple and putting together their engagement session they had asked if we’d (Nicole and I) be willing to travel to Kissimmee Florida to shoot their Engagement session. I was immediately excited when they mentioned shooting it at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. It’s a gorgeous location with numerous spots to get some really great images. Its colorful, its clean and.. its Disney. I must preface this by saying that as Tampa Bay wedding photographers we have locations close to home we love.. but we also love to travel and see new things. Shoot new places..and some older as well. This is not our first shoot there at Boardwalk Inn and we’ve also been to numerous other places around the state for E Sessions. Including Siesta Key, St Augustine, Naples, and Jacksonville. Locations that are beautiful and serve well for photographs. Now, back to Tommy and Katie. In our talks prior to the session she had sent over some inspirational images for me to look at. There were a couple I saw that immediately I wanted to put that Abundant Grace spin on. We wont replicate someone elses work..we want to tell your story ..but.. If a location can be repeated.. let’s do it. We’ll make it happen. There was one image in particular that I loved and wanted to make sure we got even more so than the others. That was the sunset image. On the gazebo on the round about. We nailed it. While there we used our time to get to know this fantastic couple. Walked and laughed. They even danced on the boardwalk. Tommy is a fire fighter with EMT training. Katie a nurse that works with the babies. We talked about our dogs, how they like to participate in running..and how..if you see me running..you should run to because something is chasing me. This shoot was amazing and I cannot wait for their Fine Arts Museum wedding later this year.
